Godstowe is a happy and thriving preparatory school for girls aged 7 to 13, approximately a third of whom are boarders. We also have a lively Pre-Prep and Nursery for girls and boys aged 3 to 7.
We are a non-selective school that achieves outstanding results. Education at Godstowe however, is about so much more than just results. Godstowe is well known for setting the highest possible standards in all aspects of its provision. Wellbeing comes first, and we take this very seriously. When our pupils are happy, well balanced and settled, they can then learn and reach their potential academically, as well as in the Arts, Sports, Drama and Music. Godstowe enjoys an enviable reputation in all of these fields.

As one of the UK’s only all-girls boarding prep schools, our day pupils benefit from all that the boarding community brings with it – a strong sense of family and community, and the 7am – 7pm clubs and wrap-around care that is available. With more than 50 lunchtime and after-school clubs to choose from, there is a wealth of opportunities for girls to discover their passions and strengths outside of the classroom.
