这所学校是苏格兰甚至整个英国顶尖寄宿制学校之一，靠近风景如画的珀斯市，到城中心仅13公里，距离爱丁堡和格拉斯哥市仅需一小时的车程。校内建筑十分古典，犹如哈利波特里的霍格华兹魔法学校。最近，Glenalmond College 曾被《每日电讯报》评选为“苏格兰最美学校”和“全英第四最美学校”。学校是 HMC——the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference 的成员之一，HMC 是一家专业的教育协会，世界上顶尖私立学校的校长都加入了该机构。
校内有着一流的硬件设施。在学术成就方面也是名列前茅的，而且还为学生提供各种形式的课外活动，包括音乐、运动、歌剧等。学校深信他们培养出来的学生应是互相尊重、有强烈的社会责任感，并能充分发挥各自潜能的。
校内分布有8栋学生宿舍楼，还有餐厅、校医室、曲棍球场、田径场、游泳池、语言学习中心、舞蹈室、艺术表演中心等。学校一直遵循着英格兰教学大纲，提供 GCSE 及 A Level 课程。学校图书馆有10台电脑供学生使用，1楼放置了2000多本小说。Six Form 的学生还有专属的图书馆，里面约有15000多本书供学生阅读，安静的图书馆环境是 Six Form 学生学习的好地方。

Welcome to Glenalmond College - an inspirational environment for learning.  The school has a strong academic focus within the framework of an all-round education, and our full boarding environment benefits boarders and day pupils alike. 

Glenalmond College is a co-educational full boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 12 to 18, situated on a 300-acre campus in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, just 8 miles from Perth and one hour from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
